After breakfast at your hotel in Agadir, begin your beautiful coastal journey north toward the charming port city of Essaouira. The drive is one of the most scenic routes in Morocco, passing through picturesque fishing villages such as Tamraght, Taghazout, and Sidi Kaouki, known for their surf beaches and laid-back atmosphere. Along the way, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, argan tree forests, and sometimes even spot goats climbing the famous argan trees.

Upon arrival in Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage city, you will explore the historic Skala de la Ville, an impressive sea bastion lined with old bronze cannons overlooking the crashing waves. Continue your discovery with a leisurely walk through the lively fishing harbor, where colorful wooden boats and daily fish auctions bring the port to life. After breakfast, depart Essaouira and travel north toward Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and its modern economic heart. The journey takes you along coastal and agricultural landscapes with olive groves, farmland, and rural villages. Along the way, you will stop in El Jadida, a historic Portuguese coastal town famous for its impressive underground Portuguese Cistern, a mysterious and atmospheric chamber dating back to the 16th century. You will also visit the old fortified walls and walk through the quiet streets of the Portuguese quarter.

Continue your drive to Casablanca, where modern life blends with colonial architecture and oceanfront scenery. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to relax. In the late afternoon or evening, take a pleasant walk along the Corniche of Ain Diab, a vibrant seaside promenade lined with cafés, restaurants, and beach views. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the Atlantic sunset and experience the cosmopolitan lifestyle of Casablanca.

After breakfast, you may visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, beautifully positioned overlooking the Atlantic Ocean (optional inside visit depending on opening times). Then, you will leave Casablanca and travel inland toward the legendary Red City of Marrakech. The road passes through fertile plains and traditional Moroccan countryside, offering glimpses of local village life.

Upon arrival in Marrakech, check into your traditional riad or hotel and begin your guided or self-guided exploration of the city. You will experience the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where storytellers, musicians, snake charmers, and street food vendors create a lively and unforgettable atmosphere. You will admire the elegant Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s largest and most iconic landmark, and explore the narrow alleys of the Medina souks, filled with spices, carpets, leather goods, lanterns, and handicrafts.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Marrakech, with free time to explore more sights such as the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, or a peaceful walk through the Majorelle Garden. You may also enjoy shopping for souvenirs or relaxing at a rooftop café with panoramic views of the old city.

Later, begin your drive back to Agadir, traveling through the beautiful landscapes of the High Atlas foothills and argan tree countryside. Several scenic stops will be made along the way for photos and rest breaks. Upon arrival in Agadir, you will be dropped off at your hotel, riad, or the airport, marking the end of your wonderful Moroccan coastal and imperial cities adventure.
