Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Your driver will pick you up early in the morning from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains and cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of mountain peaks, valleys and traditional Berber villages.
Continue to the famous ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its traditional narrow streets and admire the earthen architecture that reflects the history of the old caravan routes.
After the visit, drive towards Ouarzazate, then cross the Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses. Continue to the Dades Valley, known for its impressive rock formations and spectacular landscapes.
Arrive at your hotel, enjoy dinner and spend the night in the Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, continue towards the Todra Gorges, one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco. Take a walk between the high cliffs and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the valley.
Continue towards Erfoud, travelling through desert landscapes and palm groves. You will then reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert and the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel ride across the dunes and admire the sunset over the Sahara. Afterward, continue to your desert camp in the heart of the dunes.
Enjoy a traditional dinner, spend the evening around the campfire with local music and stay overnight in the desert camp.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast at the camp, meet your driver and begin the journey towards Fes.
Travel through the Ziz Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves and mountain scenery. Continue towards Midelt, where you can take a break for lunch.
The journey continues through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, near Azrou, before reaching Ifrane, a town known for its distinctive architecture and gardens.
