9-Day Morocco Tour from Casablanca Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Depart Casablanca and travel to Rabat. Discover the Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum and Kasbah of the Oudayas. Continue through northern Morocco to Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted streets. Enjoy time to explore the town.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Leave Chefchaouen and travel towards Volubilis to discover the remains of this ancient Roman city. Continue to Meknes to see its historic gates and monuments before arriving in Fes.
Day 3: Discover Fes
Spend the day exploring the historic medina of Fes, its traditional souks, architectural landmarks and artisan quarters. Discover the cultural heritage of one of Morocco’s most important imperial cities.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt
Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest near Azrou before continuing through mountain landscapes and Berber villages to Midelt.
Day 5: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
Continue towards the Sahara through the Ziz Valley and its palm groves. Pass through Erfoud before reaching Merzouga and discovering the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Discover the surroundings of Merzouga before travelling to Rissani and its traditional market. Continue to the Todra Gorges, then drive through the spectacular landscapes of the Dades Valley.
Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Travel through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech.
Day 8: Explore Marrakech
